Murcia International Airport (RMU) is the new 21st century commercial airport for the Murcia Costa Calida region Spain. Región de Murcia International Airport is a direct replacement and update from the shared military airport at San Javier Murcia (MJA), approximately 40km away and became fully operational on January 15th 2019.

Murcia International Airport boasts an impressive 28,500 m² terminal building with all the modern facilities associated with a new international airport terminal. On the ground floor you will find the airline check in desks, tourist information kiosk, mobility assistance desk, WH Smith, Semba restaurant plus a couple of convenient ATM machines. The first floor that is easily accessed via the travelator, lifts or stairs has the security screening section, passport control, Costa Coffee, Subway, Food & Goods, Duty free shop and the aircraft boarding gates.
